Hearing Unheard Moments

The Hearing Unheard Moments (HUM) program utilizes comedy and arts to create safe spaces for youth to discuss controversial topics and address exclusionary moments that may lead to radicalization. Based on research by Dr. Heather Lawford and the Students Commission of Canada, HUM promotes listening and compassion as solutions to divisiveness. The program empowers diverse youth to co-create impactful media, including magic shows and satirical skits, to inspire understanding and promote positive change in their communities.
